With structured 50-minute lessons, students enjoy a team-based coaching experience, joining either the Gold Team or Blue Team. The program includes gamified learning, a six-level ranking system inspired by Taekwondo, and personalized playbooks to track progress. These unique features foster confidence, discipline, and a passion for drumming in every student.
2. Live Student Performances
Step onto the stage and into the spotlight! Students have the opportunity to showcase their talents through live performances at local events, schools, and community gatherings. These experiences not only build stage presence but also instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. Performing in front of an audience is a key part of our program, helping students grow both musically and personally.
3. Alford Drumline
Exclusive to our students, the Alford Drumline offers advanced training in precision, coordination, and ensemble techniques. Members perform at exciting events such as pep rallies, halftime shows, and mini tours, gaining real-world performance experience. The Drumline merges teamwork with high-energy drumming, creating a thrilling and rewarding experience for participants.
4. Mini Tours
Our mini tours take students on the road to perform at various venues, including schools, community events, and even retirement communities. These tours are designed to build camaraderie, confidence, and a sense of adventure. Students not only hone their drumming skills but also learn valuable life lessons through these unique performance opportunities.
5. Unique Urban Ensembles
Think outside the drum! Students explore the art of urban percussion by transforming everyday objects into instruments. From broom handles to trash cans, these ensembles encourage creativity, innovation, and teamwork. Inspired by performances like “Stomp,” this aspect of our program adds a fun and unconventional twist to traditional drumming.
6. Pricing and Schedule
For just $95 per month, students receive weekly 50-minute lessons packed with focused coaching and personalized guidance. Lessons are available Monday and Tuesdays, from 4:30 PM to 8:40 PM, making it easy to fit drumming into your schedule. Join today and become part of Team Alford !
